Jungle trek

banner-hiking-day2a.jpg

We woke up at 6 am and started the 7 hour walk to our campsite in the jungle. Lots of us were bitten by leeches, but we are used to it now. All having a great time and enjoying the cooler weather in the south of the island.  The walk was hard, but thoroughly enjoyable.  I dont think we have ever sweated so much in our lives.  We have come to love the leeches and have turned the constant fear of where they might bite into a competition.! :-)
